Mission Statement

To nurture your creativity-through-writing in supportive and inclusive environments. The goal of Write with Renée is to provide a space for writers at all stages of their writing journey to explore their own creative voices.
Whether you've been writing for years, or are taking those first tentative steps to the page, Write with Renée offers generative methods for writers to engage with and find the spark of their own creative lives.
Write with Renée Workshops are offered using the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method, developed by Pat Schneider.

The AWA method is a non-judgemental approach to workshop writing which recognizes that writing happens in community. Through guided prompts, we write together to unleash the writer in each of us.

Thoughtful prompts with plenty of time to write will be provided, and you'll be invited to share your work with the group. Participant numbers are limited to 8, to encourage engagement with the work we will generate.
