My focus as a manuscript coach is to support you and your writing process. I’m open to working with all writers at any stage of manuscript development, with a particular interest in:

 

• new and emerging writers interested in starting a full-length project who are unsure where to begin

• writers working on a project who are struggling to find its “through-line”

• poets interested in (or who have begun) writing a poetry chapbook or full-length poetry manuscript (80 pages maximum)

• prose writers interested in (or who have begun) writing a book-length project

 

What manuscript coaching is:

 

• working one-on-one to devise strategies that help you achieve your writing goals

• regular check-ins and accountability on writing progress

• written feedback on passages or sections of the manuscript (negotiated on an individual basis with you)

• light substantive editing
